What we collect
The information you type in: your name, email address, phone number and website; the physical details that belong on an acting resume (height, weight, hair, eyes, playing age, vocal range); and your credits, training, education, special skills, awards, languages and union memberships. We also record when you log in, so we can throttle failed login attempts.
Where it lives
In Web For Actors' own database, alongside your Web For Actors account. That is deliberate: your Resume For Actors account is a Web For Actors account, which is how premium members get this tool for free and how your credits follow you if you later want a website too.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Braintree, a PayPal company. Your card number never reaches our servers — we store only the transaction reference Braintree gives us so we can confirm you paid and issue a refund if you ask for one.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. We do not email you marketing you did not ask for. We do not use your credits or headshots to train machine-learning models.
What is public
Nothing, unless you share it. A resume only becomes reachable when you copy its public link and send it to someone. Anyone with that link can open it, so treat it the way you would treat the PDF itself.
Cookies
One session cookie, so the site remembers you are logged in between pages. That is the whole list.
Your choices
Edit or delete anything from inside your account at any time. To have the account and all of its data removed entirely, email support@webforactors.com and we will do it.
